Charity basketball clinics will be held at Skyline High School on Saturday, October 4th to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. The sessions will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 for grades K-2, from 12:30 to 1:30 for grades 3-5, and from 4:30 to 5:30 for grades 6-8.Participants will learn dribbling and shooting drills they can use to improve their skills from Kaly Shippen and local high school players. Kaly played college basketball and enjoys teaching the fundamentals of the game to young players.
The cost is just $5 in advance, or $10 at the door. Participants may register online through the JDRF web site by clicking here. Please include the name, grade, and session of the clinic participant in the message area at the bottom of the payment form.
The charity clinics are being sponsored by Skyline High School Basketball, NAI Commerce One, and Snake River Landing. All proceeds will go to JDRF.
